About Us
Welcome to the About Us page of TheTVApp.site. We help people who used TheTVApp find safe, free and legal ways to keep watching live TV, sports, news and movies.
Why We Started This Site
In June 2026 the website tvapp.to went offline, and millions of people were left searching for answers. Many of them landed on copycat sites full of pop-ups, fake play buttons and risky downloads. We saw that people needed a clear, honest source that explains what happened and points to options that are actually safe.
That is why TheTVApp.site exists. Our TVApp status page tracks what is going on, and our guides show where each channel and league can be watched legally today. Many of the options we recommend are free.

About Us: Our Principles
- We never link to unlicensed streams. Every service we recommend has the rights to what it shows.
- We are independent. We are not affiliated with tvapp.to, TheTVApp or any streaming service, league or network.
- We are open about money. Some links may be affiliate links, and we mark them on the page. They never change what we recommend.
- We keep content up to date. Channel rights and prices change often, so we review our guides regularly and show the update date.
- We respect your privacy. No sign-up, no selling of data. See our Privacy Policy.
How We Research Our Guides
A big part of what makes us different is how we check facts. Before we recommend a service, we check that it is available in official app stores, that it holds the rights to the channels it shows, and that it works on the devices most readers use. For sports, we follow the official media deals of each league, so our tables show where games really air.
When something changes, such as a channel moving to a new service or a new season starting, we update the guide and the date at the top. If you spot a mistake, please tell us through our contact page. Reader feedback helps us keep every guide accurate.
